I was unable to use any of my desktop icons. Whenever I signed on I got this box that asked if I wanted to open or save this file (download manager). Whoever invented that should be FIRED. i finally had to call in the Geek Squad who was able to delete Explorer 9 altogether and Explorer 8 installed automatically.
